VCD Encoding
We use MPEG-1 audio and video compression technology to convert an analog signal (e.g. Betacam, DV tape) into digital form (CD-R) for storing on a CD.
Mastering
Digital information from the master disc is transferred to a thin metal disc, called the stamper, via a glass plate. The stamper is mounted onto an injection moulding machine for making the compact disc.
Replication
The process where melted polycarbonate resin is injected onto the mould cavity of the replication machine to produce identical copies of a CD from a stamper.
Label Printing
We print the label ( image and text ) onto the non-playing side of the disc by the following methods:
• Silkscreen Printing • Spot colour designs using PMS colour • Half-tone designs using PMS colour • Picture print designs using Process Colour (CMYK) • Offset Printing • Picture print designs using Process Colour (CMYK)
